Today’s reader question:
I’m looking at buying a new park snowboard to take advantage of all the sales going on right now. Out of all the 2012 park snowboards, which one would you recommend?
Arbor Westmark or Arbor Blacklist. Everyone who’s reviewed either of them has loved both of these snowboards and they’re both getting rave reviews from the snowboard community.
I’m not biased towards Arbor or anything, they just happened to have some killer snowboards this year.

A brief rundown on the Arbor Westmark & Arbor Blacklist
The Westmark is standard width and the Blacklist is mid-wide (slightly wider than average). They’re both very similar snowboards and you can basically think of the Blacklist as the slightly wider version of the Westmark.
They’re both snowboards that you can take anywhere in the park and they’ll perform fine for some all mountain riding as well.
As for which of these snowboards is best, it depends on who you ask. Some say the Blacklist and some say the Westmark… honestly you can’t really go wrong with either, they’re both amazing snowboards.
If it were me, I’d go with the Westmark, but that’s purely because I tend to prefer thinner width snowboards.
Hope that helps and let me know how the board works out for you
