I just saw something very disturbing. Today, YoBeat.com posted some leaked footage of Travis Rice’s winning run at the Red Bull Supernatural contest. This footage wasn’t meant to be shown until NBC released it at the end of March. It was quickly taken down due to what I can only guess was a copyright claim.
I get that people are frustrated that they can’t see the footage until March 31st, but comments like this are just ridiculous:

Think before making stupid comments please. Money does not equal sellout. I’m so sick of people blaming everything on the big corporations and money. Sure, sometimes people may actually sellout, but let’s not turn every instance into blaming money and sellouts.
Red Bull paid an insane amount of money to get this contest done and Travis Rice is trying to give the public a view of the other side of snowboarding. He’s trying to change things up and yet there’s people who whine that he’s a sellout.
Stop being stupid. Do you think the sport is going to grow without smart businessmen and events like Red Bull Supernatural? The same people who whine about Red Bull and NBC will happily use amazing terrain parks and features that mountains build because of the growth of snowboarding and freestyle.
Let’s think before making silly comments.

ps – if you really want to see the footage, go check the yobeat.com forums. There’s still ways to see the footage if you read the forum post.

yeah its not selling out when a chopper that reads “redbull” dropps u off a mountain, im takin stupid juice here!
Not sure if I read your comment correctly, but if you’re saying that riding a Redbull helicopter at a Red bull event that’s trying to open up the other side of snowboarding to the public is selling out… I’d have to disagree.
If that was true it would mean that riding a Gondola at any snow resort is selling out because it has the resorts logo on it. We’d all have to go back to hiking and riding blank snowboards at hills without nice terrain parks to not be a ‘sellout’ according to that logic.
