Of course there’s still a lot of other factors outside of this infograph, such as resort vibe and terrain quality. Personally, I have to say I’m still biased towards NZ, but that’s because I love the parks and vibe at Snowpark NZ… plus I still have cravings for that little japanese food place in Wanaka.

  1. I’m an Aussie who has been boarding Hakuba, Japan, and Falls Creek, Australia for 5 – 7 years now. Been saying for awhile that if I had to give up one of my two ski trips a year it would be the Falls Creek one. This year is the first year I’ve had to, and that’s exactly what happened.

    Falls is good, but when you compare it to some of the better places internationally, its a bit lacking. But by far the main reason is the astronomical costs. I think they are trying to make the same amount of money in 3 months, that other countries would make in 6.
