I’ve always said that trick tips from snowboard magazines are usually stupid. They don’t teach you anything, the pro just describes the trick in far too few details and you don’t learn anything. The above video is a prime example.
Sorry, but that trick tip is ridiculous. We do not need trick tips on how to do backside rodeos off polejams.
1) No beginner needs those tips because they won’t be doing that trick anyway
2) Anyone seriously attempting that trick already has a rough understanding of flipping off rails and doing rodeos. Nothing in that video added anything they wouldn’t know already.
So why did they do that trick tip? Simple, they know beginners will click on it hoping to learn some secret to make them as awesome as Sebastian Toutant, which means more ad money for them and their sponsors.
Here’s an idea, how about you provide real value to get readers and website views instead of giving useless fluff and linkbait like that pole jam rodeo video.
