The Secret To Making Snowboarding Into A Career

Goal Setting

Here’s the amazing secret for turning your passion for snowboarding into a career:

Find what you love about snowboarding and do it a lot. Take action!

Go start a business or go apply for a job in the industry. Get yourself into the sport. Make a plan and go do it. Do something that will bring you closer to that goal.

95% of people won’t take action

This might seem like a joke to you or it might seem like an obvious point, but I guarantee you that even if 100 people agree with my post on Snowboarding Vs. College, and they all want to make snowboarding part of their day job, only 5 of those 100 people will take action to make it happen.

Most people don’t take action. No matter how much they agree with me or how much they think taking action will change their lives for the better, 95% of people will say, “Yeah, I agree” and proceed to do absolutely nothing about it.

95% of people will go back to whatever they were doing before and in a year’s time they’ll still have done nothing to get themselves closer to getting a career in the snowboard industry.

Don’t be one of those people. Do something. After you read this blog, write down 1 thing that will get you closer to making snowboarding part of your day job, then go do it.

You’ll never succeed if you never try and most people never try.

  1. This is pretty much spot-on for *anything*. Most people just sit back and wonder why they can’t do A, B or C but it’s because they haven’t actually *done* anything! You can’t just sit back and expect your dreams to just fall in to your lap, you’ve gotta take action.
